15 hours arc and 15 gas.
Got quite good at arc.
Couldn't get how to do vertical
joint with gas.

The best trick I know for ark is to bend the rod a little so the tip you are 90 degrees to the job as you try to strike an ark then draw back rather than try to tap to achieve an ark

Also stainless rods ark much easier than steel or cast or dissimilar metal ones so if you have some available its worth losing a couple in practice to perfect the art

Better safe than sorry….was behind a young lad and lady on a Triumph this morning resplendent in shorts, vests and trainers.
