Marvelled at how people can drive at 90mph on the motorway in torrential rain and standing water.

Any fool can drive at 90mph in torrential rain and standing water. Stopping is the problem.

Except when it takes off by itself as I discovered one evening when I hit run off coming across the road, country road.
In a millisecond I found myself on the wrong side with car approaching.

Luckily at the last moment I got on to a dryer part and recovered.

I can fall asleep like that but stay asleep even less. I usually fall asleep on planes during take off and always get woken up when my chin hits my chest.

I have two great pillows that I bought in Singapore. Mrs P commandeered the other one.

I mentioned this book a while back when we last discussed sleep problems - Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker - definitely worth a read.
It helped me better understand my own issues with not sleeping.

Finished the white gloss in the dining room. Waited for Mrs Me to order carpet.
Admired the simplicity of the Bird parked next to the Pan.
