Took all the decs down. Eldest back to uni so some peace may prevail..... for an hour or two

She has returned to student accommodation in Fleetwood. Been off since March studying from home. The idea is all 5 of them (new house share) will be tested at the house on Monday and Thursday. Any issues they all isolate together (separate rooms / bathrooms etc). If clear they all study and live together (Marine engineering).

I went for a ride to clear my head. It was sunny but slimey on the roads but still enjoyable. I fear we'll soon have the choice taken from us for a while.

Looked at various forums online, then took miss Molly for her walkies. Came home and watched a bit of TV. Then got in the car and went and got her some worming tablets, drove to a local park for another walk. Came home and had a cuppa pasta, put all the ingredients together and put a loaf of bread on to bake. Now it’s time for a cuppa and watch the last Christmas movie on TV for this year. Only 355 days to Christmas 2021

its an interesting thing but I bet its not as good on the bends as the bike

Made a hook knife for wood carving but it didnt harden well in the quench so chucked it, need to find a nice thin ish piece of 01 steel & have another go at some point

Sharpened the new mora I had at xmas, it came pretty good but not quite up to my standard, then while on a sharp pointy thing session I replaced the scales on a 1941 hook quillion bayonet with originals the owner had found (lee metford probably)

Given that I am stuck in the house for months again, and the distinct lack of riding room in said house, it will give me a lot more entertainment !
