After taking my 89 y/o mum for her covid jab we called in at PC world on way back to her house to purchase a new PC for her.
They only had a few desk top computers. I pointed her towards getting a basic one.
The salesman eventually came over and my mum asked why she should get a 'basic social' computer as opposed to a high speed high spec one.

The salesman explained that the basic one would be ideal for her to go on Skype and Facebook etc and that the high speed ones are mainly only required if you are a gamer or do a lot of gaming.
My mum then indignantly replied that she did do a lot of gaming she goes on words with friends every day :sisi1

It's remarkable how well senior citizens get on with technology - my mum is 89, I bought her an iPad about three years ago and she now uses it for all sorts despite previously being a total technophobe and having a pretty negative attitude initially.

Respect.

Wondered why the new battery 'conditioner' doesn't indicate that it has fully charged the car battery after 60 hours....

How old is it
Battery and car was one year old on Xmas Eve, conditioner new.

I have been getting regular 'low battery' messages in the car during lockdown, some stuff (auto door locking, interior lights and such) shuts down when this happens but it always starts on the button and runs fine. I appreciate there is a ton of stuff running when thencar is not being used but The manual says the car can be left for a month without being started.

I am really surprised that the charger is still indicating less than 25% charge after about three days. The conditioner manufacturer says 'be patient' but I'm not convinced...

And, yes, it is on the correct AGM setting:)

There would only be one way to know for certain and that would be to remove the battery.

Your conditioner may only be supplying the equivalent of what is usually being drawn from the battery when it is parked up.
A modern car may be locked up but it's not off!
My Landy goes through a very long shut down procedure with the final step being a deep sleep after about three weeks of no use.
At this point you can only open the car manually. (I've heard of people making the mistake of parking the car with the only manual access point being
inches from a wall and not being able to get in!!)
And in all that time there is a draw on the battery.
