Gone to the golf club to clear my locker out pre-lockdown.

Annoyingly in the pro shop they were giving away loads of chocolate stuff that will go out of date during lockdown.....the day after I vowed to use lockdown to lose the extra pounds put on during the first lockdown.

Drove the motorhome down to Lee Mills near Plymouth as swmbo said she needed to visit Edinburgh Woolen Mill as it was closing down

it was closed, and totally empty - obviously it was old info she’d received. “Sorry”

so, I drove into Plymouth and bought some pasties for lunch and we went up onto the Moor, and it peed down. So I watched the Euro Tour golf on the iPad.

Drove back home and hit a van coming the other direction with my mirror. It swung mine back without damage, but I think it shattered the other guy’s. Good fortune mine are protected with mirror guards, they’re like a crash helmet stuck to the outside. I’ve gained a nice black smear on the paint I’ll need to polish off tomorrow.

Watched an afternoon and evening of rugby. Great win for Scotland against Wales. Crap England-Italy match and an OK match between Ireland and Les Frogs.
I don’t mind getting beaten fair and square, which we were, but that was one of the most piss poor games I’ve seen in living memory. I guess the weather didn’t help but it was mince nonetheless.

It was better than the England game and about on par with the Ireland one. I really missed seeing and hearing the fans. :crybaby2:

Yep second that, enjoyed the Bogtrotters v frogs, the best of the lot.
Oooh and winning the six nations :) . You’re right without the fans and the atmosphere they generate it seems to be a somewhat lacklustre experience to the viewer:(

Living the dream prelockdown......

Removed the illuminated house nameplate and Ring doorbell ahead of front elevation being partially rendered.

Moved some pot plants to their winter homes.

Had s nice chat with the lovely Australian lady that delivers our mail.

Went to see a tenant about having some external decoration done next week.

Discovered on video that there is a Snow White cat that seems to like spending a lot of his or her day in our front garden, never actually seen it.

Took my 1991 CBR600 F2 for an MOT, passed no advisories. Comment from tester how good original condition it is apart from the S/S downpipes and silencer.

Started decorating the front room, doing half the ceiling about killed me but luckily there is a beam half way across making a good place to stop, got half the walls done & papered one alcove at the side of the chimney breast, the rest can wait until Thursday or Friday
