Had an attack of the escaping hernia....
Carted off to hospital where they stuck me on a drip, wheeled me round all day blagged a grand from by debit card..

Was listening to the radio last week and, if there is a Brexit deal, then our EHICs will still operate up to the end of the transition period (2021). This is because there is a reciprocal arrangement for people from the EU to be treated here. If no deal then EHIC's will cease to be effective from 28th March 2019.

E111 is now ehic though it does the same..
Because it was an emergency and I was totally out of it, they took me to the closest hossy which was an iMed place.
Legally they were supposed to perform triage then get me shipped to the national hospital.
Turns out the place has got a reputation for ripping off brits all the time, and they always plead ignorance.
Ah well, shit happens
