From tomorrow, 6 or 7 weeks or so - it will depend on health of memsahib :)() and how the weather is, as we are heading back to Norway. This will be the maiden voyage of the new motorhome, I’m sure Jaws will raise an eyebrow at doing a long, long tour for the very first time - what items are we going to find that don’t work!

I use an app while away called Polarsteps that logs my route and stops, along with the temperature at the time. On it I can add some details and photos. It also shows where in the world I am and where I’ve been. I’m sure there are plenty of ‘antis’ who don’t like to be tracked, but I don’t care and it helps me to remember where we were when looked back in months and years after.

I don’t want to waste roaming data by posting too many pics on here of anywhere interesting, but if anyone would like to actually follow me, send me a pm and I’ll send back the link. You can like a post, and add your own message - but as it’s also open to my family and other friends please keep it sensible.

No, I meant a first time for the MH itself, in a 20 year old one hopefully the initial niggles will have been resolved

there was a new Hobby parked up near where my wife worked 15 years ago, reg. no. AH08BBY

There’s a bare frame at home, the engine is away with the engine whisperer in mid-Devon. The swingarm and centrestand is with my welder mate. The fuel tank, oil tank, seat, wheels and a few other assorted items are in Abingdon.

So do you have plenty of time on your hands and prepared to drive a long long way? :risas3:
