I thought your gloves were waterproof FUK, they've survived many a fisting session.

Well I would say the best bet would proly be the something from Heine Gerike ( sp ? ) .. they seem to have an excellent range of goretex lined gloves that should do the job well.
However, be aware that ramming loads of poofy studs and the like thru them might invalidate any claim to waterproofness they carry ! LOL !!! :}

Cheeky fecker ! I have mailed the MD of Heine Gerrike telling him you dont think his products are sensible !
I BET you get a memo from him at the very least ! Might even be a directive ( shudder ! )

John that's funny!!! my previous post was actually answering XXLarge but funnily enough, as an answer it fitted your post... like a glove :rolleyes: Thanks anyway for the HG tip - they don't do overmits unfortunately. Thanks Steve... but now, which ones do I choose? what's the difference between the two beside the price? Is it worth paying more for the more pricey pair? Conendrum conendrum!! God the pisstakers are slow tonight... or they're scared I rip them appart and no, not talking about their anus man8um %$fan

I must say the HG Master IV jacket is 100% waterproof and the Hiprotec saved my shoulder from shattering last year... Skippy, steel good but it rusts, not great for those long ramming sessions, plus it's not as tough so less good for those stubborn assholes w;;v

As an ex dispatcher I can tell you what we all used during the winter..
Frank Thomas Aqua gloves and plastic over mits.

The FT gloves are a good thick glove with a decent lining but as has been said, they are hardly water proof ( but then, what is ! )
The plastic over glove not only keeps the water out but also gets another layer between you and the outside world.. which helps an awful lot to keep your hands toasty :p

I would suggest you buy the cheapest over mits you can find, and be prepaired to chuck them away after a fairly short time

good looking AND modest
dunno about you John, but when I did my "stint" as a courier in "T" smoke, I cut a couple of plastic bottles "the square type" out and slipped them over the handlebars and fastened them with gaffa tape, so they acted like the "shields" you get on crossers and the like, they kept the worst of the weather off, not pretty, but they certainly worked, :bow: newspaper is quiet handy for keeping warm, stuffed down your jacket & trousers, and if me boots or gloves leaked the ol carrier bags came into their own!! :eek:
AH!!! memorys,!!! :}

Bloody ell Ian I'd forgotten about that. I used to buy the Times or Telegraph and zip it inside my Belstaff waxed jacket to keep warm...

Now when I was a lad.....
