What do you peeps use to clean your visor?

I've always given the outside a good dose of Mr Sheen, leave for a minute then wipe off.

I recall a thread on friendface about how the chemicals in household polish are not very good for them but as I'm no longer it, I cant (dont want to) find it.

Do different manufacturers reccomend different things?

I've got a Schuberth but cant find any recommended product.

Cover with damp kitchen roll sheets and allow a hour or so to remove squished flies etc polish with a dry duster.

    Plus one.

Wouldn't put any chemical/polish stuff near a visor as they have coatings on them that may get damaged.

Baby wipes and a soft duster or cloth

Used them for years (at least 30) , and I am not alone as a lot of people have converted to using them,

Baby wipes dissolves the bugs and flies without scratching and then the soft cloth just to buff the visor up.

Soft and safe enough for a babies bum, then soft and safe enough for your visor.

Also good for removing the bugs on your leathers and on your screen,

I've always used liquid soap and worked it over the visor with finger tips. Then rinse with warm water when home. If out on the bike I carry a bottle of lens cleaner and soak the dead bugs before using a lens cloth to clean it.

I bought a lens cleaning soap from a stall at a motorcycle show years ago...... its brilliant just wipe on and buff off gets the bugs off no problem.
it also prevents misting in the inside of the visor and great for cleaning your glasses as well.

any liquid soap wiped on and polished off the inside of a visor should help prevent misting up..... great if you don't have a pinlock system.

Baby wipes also prevent misting up (it removes the grease that causes misting) and brilliant for cleaning glasses as well

Ca t find anything about them online. Presuming they've ceased trading.

I e got a pin lock bit took it off yesterday to clean the visor and adjust the pins. It had started letting g in a little moisture.

Damp kitchen roll left on for half an hour gets my visor clean enough to buff with a dry cloth when at home, babywipes once in a blue moon when I am out works as well

And soap does stop misting but I don't need to use anything like that as my visor on this helmet never ever mists up no matter what, even the flip down shade doesn't mist, not a clue why but its a godsend
