Fitted some VTec bars over the weekend - as easy as everyone said provided you cut off the locking tabs on the clutch and brake cylinders to allow a little movement of the banjo couplers.
I also added a plastic cover over the throttle cables as they bent under the top yoke - they were showing signs of wear.
First impressions are very favourable (just as well really since I coughed up ?160 for them!) - gives a more comfortable upright position and a bit more leverage on the bars.
Only downside is that the extra height seems to have put my head right in the turbulence from my Givi screen - I may try putting the original back on to see if its any better. I do like the lack of windblast at speed though so perhaps its time to try another screen - this is getting expensive!
