....... for chain lubing or wheel cleaning for anybody who has removed their centrestand. About ?65 I understand.

Wonder if it can be used on the front wheel.. :dunno:

I think it would be cheaper, to buy a "paddock" stand for about half their price, you can even change the wheel etc using the same equipment, :dunno:

very true ian, but as i found out, cos of my bad back , its quite hard to stop a BIRD going over if you get it wrong putting ti onto a centre stand on your own .

Plus as a wheel cleaner, front and rear, and chain luber ( i have no centre stand , zort now not zorts) it is ideal, or am I just a layzee fecker

OMG ! ?60 !!!!
For what it is I spose it is not a bad price, but why on earth would someone pay 60 sovs for something a bit of stick ( cost about 30p ) withh do better !

Put bike on side stand.
Measure from floor to bottom of swing arm or any convenient propable point.
Add 25 to 50mm on.
Cut a bit of wood ( say something around the 25 x 50mm size ) to the measured length
lean bit of wood on swing arm
Standing on the side of the bike the side stand is on, pull arse of bike up and towards you
Wood will flop under swing arm.
wheel is in the air

I also use the same method ( more or less ) to raise the front wheel..
