13600 miles on 14/03/ 2005 New Vipers
14740 new rear ( puncture )
17420 new rear (almost showing canvas )
18600 new front ( past wear indicators )
19742 new rear needed ( Down to wear indicators ) 22/07/2005

Fantastic tyres. Never given a moment's worry but too expensive for me. I'll fit a Viper today but next time it's both off and 45/46s or 020s

Based on your figs

that an average of 2,511 per rear and comparable to a rear Rensport RS1 (which is basically a road legal track tyre) on my road bike delivering similiar power, so I don't think thats a bad return, although I don't how the Viper performs against a Renny and/or how you ride :dunno:

Do I still hold the record of 1311 burnout free miles out of a BT012S?

It's all down to flick of the right wrist mate :wank:

Smooth and quick makes then last longer!!

I got 2200 out of my last rear [oooo errr] but Buzz was down below 1800 miles

Grip or longevity? You canna have both I'm afraid

dunno about the Barge, but I've found a happy compromise on the Sofa, I'm running Pirelli Diablo Corsa's on the Sofa now and as yet have not felt 'em let go. Based on the reports I've read they'll do 5k miles which I think is a reasonable return.
The Diablo's were adequate and the Super Corsa's were mullered after 3k miles, however I don't know if they're suitable for bargeists :dunno:

All true Guys. I must admit I adore the acceleration from the bird and it tends to be brake hard, round corner and accelerate like stink. Really the tyres are a lot better than I am capable of using.

At last some one like me who gets though tyres. I still dont know who people get such high mileage out of tyres, must just ride at legal speeds all day and never use the power, red line full throttle what that
