Track Day - Big respect to Buzz

Got to say a big Thank You to Buzz [and Rich + marshalls] for all the hard work and organisation that they put into making the "Rider Skills Development Day" such a success

Top Banana :)

Despite a dose of wet stuff the track remained incredibly sticky

For those who missed out Buzz and me will be talking about trying to run another one next year

For those who've never done a track session before - get ya name down because at 6 x 20 minute sessions with 1-to-1 instruction if you need/want it it's the best ?75 you'll ever spend on rider safety at speed

Thanks again Buzz

Never did get past Ian Slobbo - nothing to do with lack of speed - I couldn't get past his stomach!!

Bert blames Buzz & Chinky Minky, Chinky blames Bert, and the favourite to date is Buzz, any information leading to the "Persecution" of the "true offender" will be gratefully received,!!!
the guilty party WILL get his "comeuppance"
the "last" lot took bloody AGES to remove and they were only the "little"circles like on my headlight, these will take forever as the screen isn't up to harsh abrasives, :bang:

No problem Ian...

... there is a spray you can get which removes sticky labels. Just spray it on, leave for a minute and it does something to the adhesive. Not sure what it's called but it can be got from commercial cleaning product suppliers.

Go to your local pharmacist and ask for some plaster remover, I used it for getting sticky labels off the tank on my Bandit... or see if Steve Brooke can cadge some from the health centre at work..like I did, If I had some left you would be welcome to it.

Kettle of HOT water, pour it over the stickers 1 by 1, as the glue softens simply peel them off. Alternatively get a cloth with some petrol on and press it onto the sticker for a few mins then it WILL just peel off.

Leave them on

If you leave them on, next time you can ride in all three groups (like some other geezer did on saturday!)
