Touring luggage advise

Can anyone recomend what sort of soft panniers will best fit on the blackbird, I was going to install a fitting kitt and givi boxe's but as i will only be useing these a few times a year I can't justify the expense,brok3

This is the Ventura system - 2 zip together packs which gives 80 litres of storage. Made here in NZ and they are great quality. Fully waterproof but in an absolute downpour, a few drops can get blown past the zips. Fixed by using bin liners inside.

a set of givi cases and wing rack cost me £136 from ebay and this is about the same cost of a set of ventura when bought new.I use the top box all the time and the side cases when need be.
some times if you wait a while you will find what you want for a good price in the same adds

There is another hard luggage system which can be fitted and removed very quickly for those that like the security of hard lockable luggage, but don't want the scaffolding that goes with a Givi system. Can't remember the name of it for the life of me, but I'm sure someone will be along shortly who does.
