Not watched it & while I was a fan of Clarkson, Hammond & May, I no longer feel it worth watching.

Besides which I'm not a fan of Flintoff or the other guy, McStout or some such drink.

I actually quite liked it.

Compared to the previous incarnation it is a big improvement IMO and quite entertaining and humerous.

Time will tell f they can sustain it.

I will give it a fair crack of the whip before making a final judgement.

It puts me off when someone exaggerates an accent. Flintoff and mc Guinness (whoever he is) fall into that category.

The new crew were bordering on 'laddish', hopefully they don't fall into the same trap that turned me off before i.e. Just being laddish in an unfunny way.

Personally I would like to see more real world stuff; Ferrari v McLaren comparison is all jolly good fun as is a trek across Ethiopia....but not real world relevant.

Overall I would like to see Angela Rippon back at the helm.

Poor content in the opening program. A trip across Ethiopia and a race between a Ferrari and a McLaren isn't enough. It needs more variety and unless that happens next week I probably won't bother anymore.

Watched a bit of it so far, at least I wasn't driven to switching it off like the Chris Evans version.

Anyway, it might be limited in it's current version as I believe there's a plan to build houses on Bruntingthorpe

I thought they used Duxford, I’ve partaken of Bruntingthorpe and it doesn’t remind me of it when they do their on track stuff. btw Bruntingthorpe is very bumpy and not too pleasant to run at speed.

They should have scrapped it after Clarkson, May and Hammond left. It’ll never, ever, not in a million years, be the same. If they want a motor show fine, but change the name and the format. The original three, love them or hate them, are synonymous with Top Gear and irreplaceable.

As far as I know it is filmed at Dunsfold aerodrome .

I agree there is no real reporting on cars it is just them being laddish, but no surprise there I will give it one try.:kitt-kit:

Mixed again last night - the test on the Tesla 3 was informative and largely sensible. That motor is very impressive.

The rest was pretty purile.

After last week I had hoped that they had ditched the 'I have a new book/album to plug in a reasonably priced car' rubbish.

Anyone who doesn't fast forward through that tripe needs medical attention.

The bit about the "cheap" Tesla 3 at £40,000 was interesting, but apart from the cost and the limited range of 200 miles it looked ok, but when are they going to produce an electric car in the £20,000 region that more people can afford and how good will they be by the time they have filtered down to be affordable to most people? :kitt-kit:

I read somewhere that the average electric car is £150 - £200 per year more to insure than the equivalent fossil fuel powered one.
