Went to a league cricket presentation dinner tonight. Guest speaker is member of current Essex first eleven team.

When his turn comes he states not great at speeches but happy to take ANY questions.

Gets a few straightforward ones, answers them. My hand is raised and turn comes but the only answer I get is next question please.

Get some stick afterwards.

Apolgise to said player and he graciously accepts stating he would have answered but there were ladies present.

So should I have asked the question or not?

Its not a particularly difficult one? Or is it?
