30mm wood fixings with an 10mm spanner sized hex head, 70mm number 8 posidrive wood screws, M10 coach bolts 100mm long, penny washers (8mm hole & 10mm hole) plain washers (10mm)

The toy was a plastic ball that opens out into orange like segments each containing a different small toy

Nice.

I am a big fan of coach bolts. Surprising how many people do not use washers with them.

It depends on the application whether I use a washer or not & then it will be a large but thin penny washer so the square will still have plenty of bite into timber
