Thanks Andy. Good provenance, 1 owner and 10k on the clock. It’ll make a fine garage ornament I’m sure.
Best place for them:sisi1

With your interest in sourcing and repairing things that go bang, have you considered offering your services to Ukraine? :)

Some food for the garden birds, used to buy sunflower hearts but as the price has gone up to £40 I've purchased a mix costing £8 and guess what they are still eating it

After you’ve cooked bacon, pour the fat into a container & mix porridge oats in it, the put in the fridge till it sets, birds love it.

Why use fat when cooking bacon? It cooks perfectly well in its own juices.

Fact.

Of course it does, why didn’t I think of that? Not like I’m a chef or owt.
What do you think is left in the pan?
To answer your question; I have no idea why you didn’t think of that, particularly as you are a ‘chef’.

A cheese and mushroom omelette with chips and salad, scampi and chips with salad, a prawn sandwich with chips and salad and, star of the show, a turkey and stuffing sandwich with chips and a pot of gravy. Two decaf Americanos, a diet coke and a sparkling water.

Superb lunch, all four feasters really enjoyed it…….albeit the portions were way too big, even for me.

Highly recommended if you are in the Thanet area, near France.
