Hi all
Been knocking around here for a while now so I thought it was about time I introduced myself.w;;v
I purchased the bird from a good friend about two years ago who has had the bike from new, looked after it and kept it totally standard. It's a 98 vintage that has just clicked over 70k
Since I have had the bike I have followed sound advice given out on here and made a few mods including, Jaws front springs, Jaws recon shock, 6mm spacer, bar risers, Puig D/B screen, voltage monitor LED, wavy rear disc and alloy grab handle.
Had no problems at all until last week when the bike ran out of electricity, again followed advice from here, did all the checks and new Reg/Rec and genny were required, luckily the battery is fine due to the advance warning from the voltage monitor. Both items purchased from Jaws, fitted and now all is good again.
Just like to say a big thanks to the forum for all the sound advice and Jaws for first class service.
Now as I never really have much to say, it will probably be a while before I post again so in the meantime, behave yourselves and stay safe.
Here's a pic of the bike, hope you like it.
