Hi i was wondering if any body has had any problems with after martket thermostats. i ordered one from ebay and it is a couple of mill to big and will not sit inside the housing properly, i have turned round all the way and it wont fit. is there a difference in size between the carb model and the injection model.
the listing from ebay just said 97 - 07 mine is the 07 model

The carb ones are different to the EFI ones
All the EFI ones ( late 98 to 08 ) are the same
The part number for your bike is 190300MAT761

For the carb ones are 190300MAT601 ( used to be 600 but got superseded with the 601 )
You have a carb one !
