Firstly - glad you all enjoyed the grub! Isn't it amazing what you can pack into two panniers, although I did think the Bird was a little 'heavy' on the handling on the way out.

Good to meet everyone, especially Rob and Julie for the first time, Paul and Carol again (it's been too long).

Now looking forward to next weekend - thanks for the advice Rob & Julie, we've been on the case since we got home!

Simon - get that new seat ordered!

Will post any good pictures tomorrow

Nite all

Sandra & John

A most excellent ride out

Special thanks to Quiney and Sandra for the fantastic food. Also to Red Leader 1 (aka Clive) with his dyslexic PSG. No we weren't lost we just didn't know where we were for a while.
Thank you to everybody for a lovely day, we really enjoyed your company. The weather was great and the roads/scenery were fantastic. First time for us in the Dales on the Bird and we enjoyed every moment. Congratulations to Jane who rode brilliantly and entertainingly, practising Tai Chi along the way
Just over 400 miles for us. Got home 2130hrs.
Thank you

Hey you, don't you talk about my lass like that.
It's not her fault that the shop ran out of Immac.

Quiney

Well you're a canny lass.
Do you come here often like?
Can I show you a good time on my motorbike!
You can bring your kid along as well.
