Interesting The Doors

I've never really listened to them but have heard Light My Fire a few times on Planet Rock of late. Am I missing much? Should I give them a listen or would it be a few hours of my life wasted that I'd never get back?

From what you mentioned about Pink Floyd a while ago, I wouldn't spend money, but maybe listen to LA woman on YouTube if you have some spare time, you might be surprised.

I put them firmly in the Neil Young/Rolling Stones/Early Genesis category, I have to be in the mood but every so often, a whole album gets played.

Give this a crack - Faces stuff is just fantastic...and I seem to remember you have toyed with a bass so you might enjoy Ronnie Lane going for it in this.....

I've never listened to The Faces too much as I'm not big on Rod Stewart but that's a bloody good song. And, yes, excellent bass line from Mr Lane (well remembered ).

I’ll keep me opinions open on that one .
I did used to think the track The End was pretty trippy and a bit freaky though.
