Intended spending all weekend on the bike this Bank hol' , but with weather and family commitments it didnt work out that way. This has given me time to sit on my fat arse and ponder life with the BASH coming to mind. I was rather hoping to see a good turn out of Bog Snorklers concreting our place on this forum as a force to be reckoned with. We have taken a fair amount of grief over the last few months from carrot crunchers to ginger tossers etc etc. So guys, show your colours and get it booked. No doubt there will be a few Mudlanders, Northeners and Outlanders turning up also, but dont worry our class will cover up the bad habits of the riffraff.
On a serious note, we are all a select band with a common intrest in the merits of the XX Blackbird. It's a rare opportunity to get together from all over the country and have a "whoop up". Also apart from the hard work put in by Jaws in organising the event the other contributors of effort are quite worth a mention, ie Silverfox for the new rideout route, Mrs SF for the Biker down first aid course, The ladies organizing the Buffet and also the snack van, and many others I've yet to have the pleasure to meet.
We all lead busy live's and this must be one way of letting your hair down and having a blast, and for the longer established members than me, a chance to meet up again. Life is to short with too many veribals to leave it to "next year" lets do it now!!
I Also want to meet up with everyone I've managed to offend over the last year, adds to the spice of life.
