I hope you enjoy the new site ................ Jaws ( John )
Shame that no bikes are going to attend this year. I attended a couple of the saturday ride outs and enjoyed the first one. Last year was a bit disappointing due to only a few blackbirds .
Sorry I cant make it this year as my fellow berkshire riders are out of action. One fell of his pushbike and broke his pelvis two months ago.
The other one is in hospital abroad after coming off his bird, causing a cracked vertebra, internal bleeding and even though his helmet broke in two his head seems ok. Bird was a write off.
Ha Ha I did my best to keep the buggers awake, I am pleased to say I out did myself this year, they were complaining whilst the music was on in the club house that I was drowning it out!! LOL I had several people "mention" it as they neared the awning that I was consigned to sleep in as both Yvo and my daughter wouldn't let me in the caravan!!
Just a shame only Clive, Gina, John and family and we turned up from Bird, Clive is the new holder of champion Moped rider "and was accused of being a professional rider" 8rfl@ when they saw him next to my bike and assumed it was his.
As for me, I went down with a bang "lousy ground clearance is my excuse and I'm sticking with that",and was unable to carry on, then Clive runs into my paw nearly breaking it, he hadn't realised I was out of it, and ramming me again, was not then necessary 8rfl@ still the good news is apart from nearly breaking my wrist he ended up with the bigger bruise and cuts to his paw LOL:-0)
We've the Beer Fest at little Melton in a few weeks I hope to see some more bird members turn up as the ride out is always interesting to say the least!!
