Been and had a chat with the owner of the MFN in Nottingham.
Quite a strange setup really.
The pub only opens if it's viable to them. It doesn't open otherwise. So he reckons to open for us, for a weekend in October, he would need at least 100 people attending, otherwise he won't open.

His other suggestion was to tag along to one of the rallies that are being held there. No problems with that, and if we wanted our own area for camping, he could sort this out for us.

Details of rallies at the MFN are below.

An alternative is the the victoria pub in Coalville, Leicestershire. Again pretty central for everyone, well known for it's biker friendliness, and has camp site on the premises for ?2.50 per person per night.

So over to you guys and gals :dunno:

MFN Bash!

MFN would be ideal. Its a half hour ride for me and my first visit there. Will certainly go again. I met Wotnot - a genuine nice bloke.
My initial thoughts are to tag onto another "do" and see how it goes.....

MAN on the PAN
Not to tread on anyones toes but we did the Victoria last year and although a tad damp was an enjoyable event but by way of a change and not a million miles away is Lumb Farm
http://home.freeuk.com/lumbfarm/
it has a pub ,carvery and caters for bikers on many an occasion (in fact 300 from the adventure web site this weekend)
and if you are going to use the pub and carvery the camping is free
And very close proximity to the peaks for rideouts
