good looking AND modest
As you know you'll be able to "flick" the bike about more now, the only down side is getting used to pushing the bike backward as the bars are at a different position, you'll soon get used to that as well!! @tu*

Adjustments

Ian as I did the bar change immediately I only know it this way, so not an issue for me, but I know what you mean, I find the extra leverage great but backwards it does feel like the far grip is a long way away!

I still want to adjust the clutch line away from the clamp but will need to use a Dremmel to cut away the tab on the rear of the master cylinder to allow the necessary movement of the line above the clamp.

The JAWS bars still feel slightly "pointed in towards the headstock" to me, not running straight across the bike if you understand me, if I try to juggle them round I make contact between the tank/screen/clamps depending on how I do it. It may be because I cut the bars back by 12mm each side on reflection as it brings the master cylinders in by 12mm as a result. May yet have to refit the old Renthals, we'll have to wait and see.

I must reiterate that a lot of this fussing about is directly due to my wrist sensitivity and not an issue that most will face. Some is just me being fussy!

John, assuming that is the Bird with the bent frame you did well to get rid of it@tu*@tu*

;-0))
And, as stated previously, what sort of lunatic let's a Bird go without sir in the tyres??:wank:
Having said that, when I picked mine up I asked the seller to make 100% certain that the pressures were around 42psi and he said he had done this when I asked upon picking the bike up for the 240 mile ride home. Did he phook. Absolute nightmare ride, when i finally got home I discovered both ends were around 30psi from memory. Put some air in but it wasn't a lot better. That might have had something to do with no oil in right fork leg though.:-0)

Don't even start me on the sticky bit on the chain............c7u8

There really are some irresponsible sellers out there.

Frame

The bent frame is compensated for by the twisted front forks and the knackered rear shock.

Oh and the way I dress to the left!
