I know this has been covered before, but what a difference an overhaul makes, even when JAWS does it:-0).
My Bird had just hit 26k on originals and had felt a bit flighty from when I acquired at 22k. A couple of hundred quid at JAWS and it feels like a new Bird, particularly the front where the tyre almost feels like it is digging into the road when cornering rather than skipping across it.
It is a gradual decline that is not really noticable over time - have a think about how many miles you have on your originals; IMHO anything over around 20k and you will feel a massive difference with an overhaul.
