When taking out a new bike insurance policy today :- 'do you smoke'
"what the thucksss THAT got to with it?" :dunno:

(A) No, if it gets me it cheaper :-:  :-:

So I just packed it in while I was taking the policy out but started again when I put the phone down.

Now should I tell them their has been a change in my circumstances :dunno: .

What ever happened to the trivia questions like : do you suffer from epilepsy, when did you last have your eyes tested, do you do drugs and so'on & so'on :dunno:

We've got a lot to answer for, us smokers

I have just renewed my insurance and had to go through as you say, stupid questions.

Am I married? Do I own my own house?

As you say, is it relevant?

Is insurance cheaper/dearer dependant on these the answers to these questions?

Smokers= more inclined to have sudden heart attack (theoretically) pay more insurance.

Married= More to live for than a single person (theoretically) so will ride with more care, pay less insurance

Forces= Junior ranks, first in line to be shot/blown up, more insurance. the higher the rank the further from the danger, less insurance.

I was associating it with bike insurance John, my brother works in insurance (although not motorcycle) you'd be amazed at the scams they use to get people to pay more
