Strange Clunk~~

Believe that the Taliban have got to ma bike.....

Under heavy braking there's a clunk from somewhere near the forks on the return up!

Suspect that it might be the joining section on the caliper that "triggers" the rear braking bit

or could it be worse????

hmmm

Sounds very much like your diagnosis Clive - cos if it was the head bearings, it would show up when you push down hard on the front forks whilst stationery.

When I do this there's no "clunk"

On me Bird aswell. Thought it was the floating disc.

i've got it as well, done the head bearings , made no fookin difference!
