nearly wore out the remote flicking channels...

- great stuff from Steve Smith, shame about the knuckle draggers who continue to boo him. It's getting a bit stale now
- fantastic Grand Prix. Brilliant drives from many, some fantastic wheel to wheel racing and a knife edge finish. Max is right up there now, can see him and 'it is I, Leclerc' being the Senna and Prost type battle in not too many years. Hamilton reigns supreme, might one day get the universal acclaim he deserves for his amazing talent and the fact that he is a proper racer - a no risk easy second would have been a great result in terms if the championship yesterday but he was desperate for the win
-- highlight of the day for me was 'The Smiling Cinderella' Shibuno coming out on top in a great finish to The Women's British Open. How fantastic to see someone really enjoying professional sport, interacting with spectators, giving kids sweets on the way round and smiling non-stop. And the golf was amazing, both from her and others
- oh, and Leeds won, so Derek happy, which makes me happy:aaaaa:

And no mention of the moto gp or superbikes from Thruxton. On a bike site. Wouldn't you be better off on mumsnet or somewhere?

I understand the cantankerous nature, the need to always be right and not listening but do they stalk people to the extent that restraining orders are necessary on mumsnet?
