I guess it all depends on variation in height, speed, etc but yeah less so the slower you're going. At 30 - 40mph the error won't be much. At trackday speeds then, yes, it wouldn't be sufficiently accurate for accurate laptimes.
Are you using one of the Qstarz receivers..?
Different plod have different criteria - if you were doing less than an accurate 47-48 you should be ok.So in theory ..... speedo showing 40mph + 10%
Plus a little margin of error say 1-2mph ??
I MAY be lucky ???

Here's a bit of useless information...………….
Riding at a steady 70 showing on the Tom tom on the flat and straight with a read out of 76 on
the bike.
THANKYOU for that ‘useless bit of info’
My speedo isn’t digital ... so I may be +/- a bit on my calculations
But using your figures ...44mph should be a true 40.5mph ?????
Still keeping my fingers crossed !!!
How long do I need to watch postie arrive ?? Is it a month maximum ???
Isn’t it 31 days?I think it is 15 days, Darren.
