This is the venue and the list of peeps at the mo - please let me know if you should be on the list or off it!!!!!!! xxx http://www.lowerlodeinn.co.uk/ - The site doesn't work, but you can see the pub on the home page!! this is bigger and has a function room for the band!! Its a free house, loads of real ales with the normal boyz drinks!!! Bar open until 2am!!!!! There is a band booked for Saturday night - an Irish Hooley Band (apparently they are not people to do drinking competitions with!!!) Pub will do a breakfast for us (price to be confirmed) if we let them know how many the night before. will do Chilli/stew/jacket spuds on evenings for us - need to give them an idea of numbers. (price to be confirmed) They have a carvery on Sunday lunchtime, so anyone not rushing off can take advantage! {B&B rooms are fully booked now!!} Lovely site, big friendly pub (very used to bikers!!) Very Picturesque!!! Tents, Caravans and Vans are welcome. ?10 per person for the weekend - includes camping and band (no food included!!) hurrah hurrah - can't wait for April!!!!!!!!

There was a rally virgin at a Belgian rally a couple of years ago, who was told that as the Belgians are a fairly staid lot, all he'd have to do was run around the hall three times, naked.

Now he is a very black-skinned person (with a great bum, even in leathers!) and I promptly told him that with skin that colour, there was no way he could run naked anywhere without being covered in oil.

He thought I was kidding.

















He hadn't known me long.

















He still thought I was kidding when I stopped on the way to the restaurant and bought a small bottle of olive oil (no baby oil available at the time).


















Suffice to say that the mention of the word oil now has him running fast in any direction away from me!

That was nearly 2 years ago and I've had an annual bath since (even though I didn't need it), and he's now the club stud (Rob the Knob got married and left the post vacant, so Ray the Oil stepped in!)

Started feeling proper shit on Monday-by Tuesday glands were all swollen up and felt as weak as a kitten. Gave up yesterday and went to see the docs. Waiting on blood-test to cofirm, but they think I have glandular fever - bollocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
