Unfortunately, he's still on nights :bang:

We'll have to see what time he wakes up on Saturday now.

Keep your fingers crossed, he's going for an interview next Tuesday, maybe he'll get away from driving now and back to playing with aircraft...............

Hey brill!! :yo:

We'll be there from 12 noon (don't think they are open before that :}) so see you there!

There's no snow here at the moment, so with luck there'll be no weather issues to stop us getting there :} :}

Don't think we'll be making it, somehow. Himself just rang to say that with the weather he hasn't even got his first load yet and by now he should be on the second. He's got to go somewhere around Birmingham and the roads to the M5 are all bad. One of the drivers left 2 hours ago and hasn't gone more than 20 miles so far, so he's planning to go via Oxford and M40, but it means he'll be late getting home so will need to sleep.

Sorry folks, it's a non-starter.

Arty - thats a real shame, but hopefully Hunter will be back on aircraft work by the next meet :yo:

But, four BBirds, two red a black and a blue! Good show for a january meet

Dave - hope the flu is getting better - hope to see you next time

Stan - shocking planning! :} :} :}

Not a pub, but Compton Abbas Airfield is a popular meeting place, just off the top road from Blandford to Shaftsbury - and just round the corner from Zig Zag hill :beer:

that is a good shout, exactly in the area we were talking about Smix.

The other thought I had was Thruxton/Amesbury area which would allow a 'play' on Salisbury Plain and be a little further east for some of the South Coasters.

Au contraire, sweetness, most of these flying types also have bikes. It's a need for speed thing perhaps?

My ex, and once again, boss has a Hunter, a Gnat, a Yak (he's sold his Baron as he wants a helicopter, a menoPorsche and a Ducrappy which he wants to change for a Hardly.
