Well....
Finally got Taffy to 'touch up' the Bird.

Had a bit of a pootle down to his place on Sunday to have a brew and pick up a panel clip.

What do you think of this................

So. In the end, the outcome was this...

Boy am I pleased!!!
Oh, and yes I know the pipes,and all the other bits are filthy! The monsoon conditions on the way down counteracted all my cleaning on Saturday afternoon! :-0)

Taffy You are a painting god!!
The things you can do with a tin of yellow are astounding.

Seriously. The colour is not shown to it's amazing best in the photo's, it is a sort of 'flipflop' yellow finish, graphics, grabrail and mirrors in pewter grey.
Thanks for all the hard work leading up to the new scheme and yesterday dave, Your skills are outstanding.

Like the look of that, is it a special colour yellow or nicked from some other manufacturer?
If I see a Bird that colour round here at least I will know who's it is.

The colour is..
Renault liquid yellow metallic (J37), and the other is 'metallic pewter grey'.

It's not actually 'flipflop', but when the sun catches it you can see different tones of yellow, it's very very nice ( I think) :-0)

I intend to keep the bike, so thought I would have something eyecatching.
Know it's not to everyones tast, but I think it's absuflaminlutely fanbloodytastic.

I got loads of thumbs up's and nods from other bikers (and cars) on the way home. Could have been something to do with my pointing and posing all the time.

I could do you for copy right, colour is canary yellow and cant get acamera to justify it.
