Can any one help??
Both me and the missus are on the big size and the rear shock can stand the punishment no longer.Can any one help(and no comments about losing weight as we are dieting at the moment again!!!).
I have heard that maxton will build you a rear shock to suit your weight is this true? does anybody else offer this service and what is the cost.
Because the rear shock cannot cope and the tyre takes some of the loading I have gone through 3 back tyres in 10000 miles.

Maxton will do this for a price .. but any of the other suspension specialists will too, Its the rating of the spring you need to be higher for your combined weight. 3 tyres in 10k is not really excessive for a BB y'now from what I've read here.

3 Back tyres isn't unnormal, personally I go thru 4/5 back tyres in 10,000 miles.
Another thing worth considering is the maximum weight loading on the Blackbird which is 185kg(29stone) Hope this helps too.

Either Bt010's or Bt020's On a BT010 i get between 1500-2000miles and on the BT020 i get anywhere from 2500-4500 (depends obviously on how bad a bad boy i am:) )
