and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Weather was not suitable for biking, so we took to 4 wheels.
Went over to Bolton Abbey (just northeast of Skipton) met up with Clive & Kit.
Had a couple of walks, one down to the River Wharf and another round the Abbey and its grounds. (even poked our heads in the church there!) Had coffee and mince pies (that we had taken with us) and put the world to rights.
The roads were quite bad in places on the way home, with snow and hail.
Back home now for a nice fillet steak, jacket potato and fresh salad.
If you haven't tried it, don't knock it - what a brill day :beer:
