I'm not a rugby union fan and I have a welsh grandmother but I loved the fact Italy has won after losing 36 matches, the pressure on the lad taking the winning kick must have been tremendous

what a strange world we are living in you would have put your house on Wales winning

I am so grateful that Italy won, finally after 35 previous defeats. They’re not quite so deserving of a place in the top flight, but they’re getting there, and in addition managed to topple an under-performing Welsh team. The final try was sensational and I’m very pleased to have watched the match.
Now I’m hoping for close match and a win for Scotshire.
Finally - allez les bleues later on.

Also handing the man of the match award to the winning try scorer was a fantastic gesture

Yes, I find it a bit disconcerting when the man of the match is awarded before the match is finished, it’s like declaring a boxing match halfway through the 10th round - then there’s suddenly a knockout, like this try was.

Well, it's up to England now to stop Les Frogs from winning the championship.

Allez les Rosbifs.

The French team is incredibly strong and fast.
Sadly England aren't going to grab it.

Yep, Josh Adams handed the award to the Italian fullback, Ange Capuozzo, absolutely marvellous gesture. Shows the nature of the man and how gentlemanly rugby (almost always) is as a sport.

Congratulations to Italy on a thoroughly deserved win :Champ:

In the meantime, someone at the WRU should be asking Wayne Pivac and his coaching staff some very awkward questions.

I watched the end of the Italy game and I’m sure like most neutrals I was up out of my seat when they went over with around ninety seconds left on the clock.

I am not a massive rugby fan but one thing always strikes me - how easy it is to run the clock down without the ball being in play…yesterday being the latest example.Just seems wrong to me.

Well if they ask them in Welsh it’s bound to be difficult for them :risas3:

Which is why they should stop displaying the clock in stadiums.
