guess it`s testament to the improvement in safety gear and technology that he`s still with us......(this will show my age)..but remember when Sheene had his massive get off..look at the damaged he suffered cause of the lack of protection......Nakano's a very lucky guy....
I too feel the marshal was a bit to eager to get the lid off...but by then it`s too late... :eek:

Me and Steve was watching when it happened, I still can't believe he escaped with so little injuries, iv seen bikers skidding across the tarmac on there arse's or gracefully sliding until they stop, but iv never seen an accident as bad as that before, he really did get thrown all over the place didn't he?, he was like a rag doll being thrown around.....poor sod, well he gets my sympathy thats for sure!!!

{notice he was a kwack rider? there must be something in the air at the moment} :xm :}

For the record..........

...........helmets should only be removed as a last resort to open or maintain an airway and then only with adequate neck bracing/support.

Should you find yourself in a nasty situation don't let anyone remove your or your mate's helmet if you can breathe. :t

Many people are killed by do-gooders. If you don't know what to do Number One before anything else: GET HELP.
