rideout routes have been sorted for sheepfest,and are as follows.....
SATURDAY RIDEOUT
after meeting at the west end cafe in llandovery between 11.00-11.30am on the saturday morning,we will depart approx 12.00pm and head along the A 483 to beulah,then up the B4358 to newbridge on wye,then the A470 on up to llangurig,then the A44 through to aberystwyth.as we did last year...stop for 1-1.5 hrs(depending on time)for lunch.depart aberystwyth and fuel up at morrisons petrol station before going down the A487 to aberaeron,then along the A482 through lampeter and back to llanwrda,then the A40 back to llandovery by approx 4.30-5.00pm.
we are meeting at the bluebell public house for 7.00pm-ish,eating,then general chit-chat and pisstaking etc etc..for those who wish to/have booked food.last year,it was a bloody good night,and not to be missed.
SUNDAY RIDEOUT
after recovering from "the night before",having breakfast/packing etc...meet at west end cafe for 10.30ish,as we will leave 11.00am sharp.travel down the A40 to carmarthen,then along the A484 to cynwyl elfed,then the B4333 onto newcastle emlyn,then the A475 to the very picture-esque cenarth falls.stop for 15-20 mins before heading back along the A475 towards lampeter,then the A482 back to llanwrda,A40 to llandovery.
sunday lunch is booked for 2.00pm for those that have booked it,if your name isn't on the list(page 1 of this thread),and you require either the saturday or sunday meal,please let me know by the 15th of this month or you will not be able to have the sunday lunch.after lunch it's head for home time,or you can hang around a while longer if you so wish as i will probably do
can everyone make sure they are fuelled up before each rideout to asure no unecesary stops are needed there are petrol stations in llandovery and before llandovery coming in from either direction on the A40.
only other thing to do is wish everyone a pleasant and safe journey,and i look forward to seeing faces old and new.if there is anything anyone needs to know,please don't hesitate to contact me or blu for help.below is a piccy of where the west end is......it's on the corner where the A40 bends through 90 degrees...impossible to miss as it'll be full of bikers.
