Got a mate here, totally broke, who's got to get his dog here in UK, so if anyone is travelling BACK FROM France to London between 21 and 24 September driving not too far from Lille (not far from Shuttle or Calais), could you give him a lift back to London, he would obviously pay your petrol - if You can do please PM me, thanks in advance for him (he's got all the passport and the chip and all for the dog so that's no worries)

Thanks for the suggestion Alison, I think the problem is them allowing animals on the train before/after ferry or something...

If he is bringing a dog into the UK he will have to find a vet in Calais who will inoculate the dog and give him a certificate I believe. Before they will let him near a ferry, then I think the dog has to stay in a car during the crossing, sod yer luck if its rough and the dog dont travel well :puke:

Thanks mate - he will have it done just pre-travel, and I was thinking of the crossing with shuttle, which solves the :puke: :puke: :puke: issue!
