Hi there Smooth 'n' Quick - I have sent you his address to see if you have more luck. I got a reply after proposing court action against said individ but he wrote email to ask how I wanted it paying (Paypal or chq) and guess what I heard after that? ZIP.

I fear that we have been taken for mugs and said member has no intention of paying or even sending quipment back (I did offer that suggestion).

If you are going for a ride out to his new address and you see him - give him my regards as you shake him warmly by the throat!

:bang: sorry to hear of you bad experiences

I have recently sent out my old XX spares to 4 users of this and 2 other forums totalling ?700 and everyone has sent payment to me straight away.

It is a big trust thing and this time looks like you both have been unlucky.

i,v been trusted by the same names already mentioned, and just last week took delivery of some gear from one of our members on his understanding i didnt pay until i checked the goods:yo: who needs thievin bastards spoiling the status quo (no rocknroll 3 chord jokes please) if the recipient of your goods is hospitalised it must be some proceedure he's going through to delay contact for over two months (not f#cking likely says i)

give the ladyparts a visit, relieve him of your goods and then give him the 2 month hospital food tasting he warrants:shooter:

ps

im sorry for you too lads:xm

Well I am seriously wound up now....

I have said individuals address......

Anyone on the forum live close to Weston Super Mud ?? Before I spend more time and money driving down there to track this non payer down I was wondering if there was anyone close that could help with some reccy work for me ??

Clearly after he has moved there he has been in contact with Malc so must be OK....

I am gonna have the fecker upside down to see what change drops out of his pockets...then drag him to the nearest cash point and relieve him of ?250....?200 for me and ?44 for Malc.....I'll be keeping the change for my petrol money....

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  :bandit:

Yes Centaur, Rob did offer up the cash to Malc.......As you can tell I am getting pretty peed off that the situation has dragged on this long
I'm back!

Jeez, this has escalated. Didn't realised it was not resolved.

Ok, this is what happened re my offer to pay Malcolm. When he initially posted I could see that he was angry, so made the gesture of paying on behalf of said member to stop anything getting ugly prematurely. I don't know the member well (met him twice at Bassetts Pole) but I based this on the fact that he went out of his way to help me with some computer problems and I thought what a helpful guy. He told me at BP that he was glad to help but if I had more trouble then he would be off the forum for a while as he was moving and changing job. Then the hospital rumour went around and when Malc couldn't get hold of him I thought that it must be just circumstances at play, hence my offer to resolve.

Seems like I was way wrong then!

I haven't a clue where he moved to, other than it was west country. Don't know what else to say to help really. Still seems odd to me but I would agree it has changed considerably for the worse.

Hope it gets resolved..........

cheers Rob

I don't yet have all the info I need but enough to make enquiries and establish where he is and if he is OK - that's the most impoirtant thing, make sure nothing serious has happened to the guy.

I'll work out my next moves as and when I know the above....

After the EOSB saga and now being ripped off by someone on here I am getting a very nasty taste in my mouth......but I am sure it will get sorted....
