What the ? Self Isolation !

Well seeing as we are told to stay at home (just about) I thought it time to give the old girl and the new tart a bit of a spruce up this week.
After totally stripping the Bird over the winter and treating the paintwork to some proper care and attention as well as a service everything got finished today so I am aiming to give the old girl a good run tomorrow.
The CB650R is a great bike, having had it since June it is totally different to the Bird, have to plan overtakes a bit more but that engine is damn good and even the standard exhaust sounds really good as well at full chat, which I use quite a bit !
But getting back on the Bird will be good as well so tomorrow will be getting her back out again, also now on 4 day week (my choice) and with working from home as well I reckon a few antisocial rides will be needed to stop me going stir crazy, well thats gonna be the excuse !

Mrs Poo buggered off to New York this morning until Wednesday, so I buggered off out and self-isolated on the big BM for my first ride since moving back home. I’d forgotten how amazing it is on a bike over here, tootling through the Valleys, up Maerdy Mountain, across Hirwaun Common and back home via Aberdare

There are but they’re on a significantly reduced schedule. Her flight was quite empty going over and I imagine it won’t be much different coming back.

I'm on night shifts at the moment, used the 'bird last night and will again tonight.

A little chilly in the morning, but I'm smiling again ........

But ..... We're down to one runway and bugger all aircraft ....., How long they keep us going for is unclear.

I look backk on this time of year being some of the least bad times on a motorised cycle - having slogged through all sorts in winter the lighter mornings and a bit of sunshine was marvellous, regardless of the temperature.
