So do I!!

It's worth watching for the Seafrance offers - they do have some cracking deals now and then. Saved a wad when crossing with a large van with them a little while ago (no - not a grog run sadly).

Keep an eye on ALL the crossings this year, its getting very cut throat out there. P&O are struggling, so much so that the Flagship Aquitaine is going from the Dover?Calais run, and they are cutting crossings, Sea France are bringing in a new ship and I believe Norfolk Line will be coming up with some deals as well.

The new Dover/Bologne [sp] ferry co, Speedferries are still not catering for bikes, but have been doing so good deals if you book early.

Another thing to note that if you are local and can 'turn up and go' esp on a bike, on an early crossing, day return, midweek, it has been known to cost ?5. I once wangled my car and 2 people over for ?1, and got a free bottle of wine on the ferry!

w;;v CD, I think you will find they are taking bookings (on their web site) for bikes now, ?50 seems to be the standard charge.

Whoops my apologies, I last asked them a while back about taking bikes and never bothered rechecking

It is definatly worth spending time on the phone to ALL the companies and play them off against each other, it does work depending who you get on the phone, P&O have always seemed to come up trumps for me, but they are struggling (1500 reduncies in Dover) but its worth a try.

Yeh P+O are robbing gits

Phoned for a crossing with a car+trailer.... ?171 told the guy to fog off

Phoned P+O again 5 mins later and spoke to another operator ....?64.. same times both ways... apparently P+O have a curry centre if the phone lines are busy.
If ya don't like the quote phone again later.
