Ok so some of you expressed and interest so here's where I am going.

Those Around Brum we can meet somewhere around J7 on M6. Others we meet at 10 am Much Wenlock Market Square
Then trip up A5 to A458 then run down through Welshpool and Mallyd.
Turn on the fantastic A470 switchback stopping to savour mountain views. Then continue to Dolgellau where we will regroup in market square.
Then a choice of zapping a few miles up to the waterfalls (never been there and don't know whats there but should be somewhere to stop for sarnie and drink.) or if time permits and we want to, we can go to Barmouth on the WEST coast.

Then its back throgh Dolgellau and down the A487 passing under and by Cader Iris, the second highest mountain in wales to Machinleth.
Then A489 (A470) A489 to Newtown, Churchstoke towards Craven Arms but cutting up just before over Long Mynd to Church Stretton. Time for cup of tea. If there are any Southern Midlanders we may part here so they can go down A49. For others its B4371 to Much Wenlock. Thats it then. Some great roads, great scenery, lots of swooping. Dont intend to race it, just enjoy it and aim to be back in Much Wenlock about 4.30. Hope some of you can join me and Brakelady or It'll be a bit lonely. Can I hear from you if interested please.

Picky picky Artemis. I took A level English not Welsh. Now just take off those thongs and get in your leathers and come on the ride-out. err when I say thongs I means those Medieval goddess type thongs you wear on your feet, not the ones you wear elsewhere..not that I am saying you wear them..well you might but then under leathers maybe big pants..no no not saying you wear big pants oh god..digging myself a hole here

Thong coat and hat on...gone! :k

Tell you what, Chuck, I won't take offence at you, if you don't take offence at me. And yes, I do wear both types of both (thongs and knickers) but tend not to wear thong underwear on the bike for obvious reasons. Bridget Jones moment...........

Anyway, just showing off my superior knowledge of things Cymraeg :neenaw:

Don't think we can make the rideout as the garden is desperately in need of attention with mower and pruning shears (like my mother's dog can't even be seen once she gets out there!) and we're away this weekend.

Hope you have a great one

I just need to obtain a pass out for the day off SWMBO

But as I'll be coming down the A49, is there a possible meet point where the A5 meets the A458 ? and if so what time approx'. :dunno:

Not going to be able to do this run as i need to repack the exhaust on the Bird and no one has it in stock. Even Micron ( who made it ,and are only 6 miles away) wont sell it to me from the factory
