Ok so some of you expressed and interest so here's where I am going.
Those Around Brum we can meet somewhere around J7 on M6. Others we meet at 10 am Much Wenlock Market Square
Then trip up A5 to A458 then run down through Welshpool and Mallyd.
Turn on the fantastic A470 switchback stopping to savour mountain views. Then continue to Dolgellau where we will regroup in market square.
Then a choice of zapping a few miles up to the waterfalls (never been there and don't know whats there but should be somewhere to stop for sarnie and drink.) or if time permits and we want to, we can go to Barmouth on the WEST coast.
Then its back throgh Dolgellau and down the A487 passing under and by Cader Iris, the second highest mountain in wales to Machinleth.
Then A489 (A470) A489 to Newtown, Churchstoke towards Craven Arms but cutting up just before over Long Mynd to Church Stretton. Time for cup of tea. If there are any Southern Midlanders we may part here so they can go down A49. For others its B4371 to Much Wenlock. Thats it then. Some great roads, great scenery, lots of swooping. Dont intend to race it, just enjoy it and aim to be back in Much Wenlock about 4.30. Hope some of you can join me and Brakelady or It'll be a bit lonely. Can I hear from you if interested please.
