Having seen them at the Great Yorkshire show I’ve got to disagree with you, they were really funny & their cooking demo was really good, I never got chance to speak to them but others did & they appeared really down to Earth.

What a terrible shock, out of the blue. I thought he was over the cancer and was recovering well.

RIP Dave, you will be sorely missed. My thoughts go out to his family and Si King. A terrible loss

The hairy bikers did an event for meals on wheels locally, and they and their team cooked loads of food for elderly and homeless
A lot of good spirit was generated locally, much praise for their time and affords

Being a fellow northerner, I liked the hairy bikers

Hope he rides long and free !!

RIP Hairy Biker. I'm not much for cookery programmes but I enjoyed watching these two...even if it was just to see what they were riding next.

Just been reading about his upbringing, he became his Mother’s carer at 11, his Father had a stroke when he was 17, he lost his Fiance to cancer in 1998, he suffered memory loss after a migraine attack, he had to have an operation on a benign brain tumor.

RIP Dave a genuinely down to earth kind of guy. Enjoyed all their programmes, Si and him seemed to be truly genuine mates, he’ll be sorely missed.
