After adjusting the chain and correcting the wheel alignment:wank: I took the bird out. I wanted to be confident of its ability to handle and no longer run wide.
I am now confident that it's almost as easy to ride, at all speeds, as the blade.
More generally though, because of gypsy's jibes, I've begun practicing riding round islands, of various sizes. Because of a damaged right arm I find these difficut. But practicing difficult things until you can do them easilly builds confidence.
Both smix and two stroke tart have lost confidence in their ability to ride a bike. If they still want to ride all they need to do, I think, is to practice the things they find difficult to do.
