I reckon either the Wednesday (23rd) or Thursday (24th) for the rideout. For us down here, we could meet up at the green bus cafe on the A6 layby between Whatstandwell and Ambergate. It would have to be quite early though cos of travelling distance to Southport. Some great roads between here and there, we would have to watch out for the 50m speed limits around the cat & fiddle, they are fairly new and regularly inforced. As I said previously, it doesn't have to be Southport, I'll go anywhere.
On a different note for those who come down to Matlock Bath on Sundays, you are welcome to call in for a brew, just let me know first. I have seen a blue blackbird (same as mine) a couple of times near the bath but its a case of either I'm on my way in as the other guy is on the way out or vise versa. I'm sure we'll catch each other somewhere.:neenaw:
Anyone fancy a rideout during this 1/2 term (starting the 18th October) (weather alowing), up to Southport? I live in Matlock, Derbyshire but could pick up anywhere on route from Matlock, over the Cat & Fiddle or even in Southport. Dave:}
