just wanted to say hello to those who made it out today. was nice to put some faces to names on the forums. had a great time. they really have done a great job at the museum, some lovely bikes on show. needless to say the ride home was a lot more sedate than the ride there involving myslef, rhino and a top of the range jag !!!! need i say any more ? oh yeah, the jag lost !!!! several times.
cheers to Rhino for leading the way there. had a good day mate
cheers to everyone

Top day today a real credit to the guys who have worked relentlessly restoring the exibits. Nice to see some old faces and some newish members as well.

Shame you couldn't stay for lunch Mozza and Rhino that was good too!

Hopefully some pics will be posted in due course not by me though as I didn't take my camera.

Silverone ( feck off you cheeky twat!)

I echo trophychaps sentiments....

Top day out... Great to see Rhino, Pete n Jenny again, and good to meet Chuck & Cheryl, & Mozza, Scalsey, and his mate as well

Rhino & Mozza, you missed an absolutely top whole meal at the pub for lunch...

The museum was a credit to the people who have worked endlessly to restore the bikes to top showroom condition...

Scalsey mate, despite his youth, showed the rest of us up with his knowledge of the historic machines, and their intricate workings (still want that nice green rocket bike-but in blue of course:bow: )

Only downside to the day, was that on the way home, my visor let loose:eek: (luckily we had just come off the motroway, and were only doing a measly 85 or so...LOL). One of the fastenings for the offside holding the visor on came adrift and let the visor come away from the hemet...Got to get in touch with Schuberth for a new one now:xm

On the whole tho', a very good day out...Thanks to all who turned up... Those who didnt certainly missed out on a most enjoyable day.

Cheers,

Rolfy & Jan

Was that lucky or what? Glad you got home safely.

Jenny

PS to Self (am turning into Bridget???) must ask Pete to investigate the rattle inside my helmet every time we go over a bump - though I suspect it's only the drop-down sun visor, not anything critical.

Well Bertie boy I am afraid if we told you thr answer to those questions we would have to kill you!

The jumpers could just show our impeccable good tastes though.
