My eldest got some horsey friends together very early this morning, they washed & dried their horses then saddled them up in freshly cleaned tack, they all put purple numnahs under their saddles, they all wore red coats & they all wore red poppies & on their riding hats they all wore purple poppies.
They then rode to the local cenotaph where the horses behaved impeccably throughout the service, they were approached by many veterans some with tears in their eyes thanking them & asking for them to do the same next year.

Leo gone to Enniskillen to partake in ceremonies. President going to St Patrick's cathedral in Dublin.
There's usually one in Limerick.

Nice change for me today.

I didn't stand there at the local remembrance day parade with my girls.

I stood there watching my girls march with their Brownie group in the local remembrance day parade.

Doubly proud.
