I actually sat and worked this out a while ago. 3K per year = wheeling bike out of garage every sunday for jolly that should cover NO MORE than 57.7 miles. So for me thats means bringing bike to work on Monday, taking it home again the following monday. If the limit is upped to 4k per year, that takes it to a rideout total of 77 miles per week. Dunno about the rest of you but I bought the bird to enjoy, not spend most of its time in the feckin' garage to be looked at! I blame the "Sunday Posuer brigade" Only use the new R1 or Blade on a dry sunny sunday, pootle off, with pillion in matching leathers to the nearest Starbucks for a latte, then home again for countryfile! Total distance, 22 miles. Bike then either gets written off by some myopic, no brain stemmed twat, max pay out from insurance companies or is traded in when the latest model comes out in six months, dealers see the 33 miles on the clock and the new presidence is set. By the year 2015, annual milage will be set to 50 per year and 50 Lattes with Skinny Sunrise Muffins!

Perhaps if the manufactures slowed down with the latest models, (Why bring out a new version within six months?), it might push up the resale values and the annual milage?

Oh, and Aidey, thats cos its a Vectra mate. Lousey resale values to start with.

I think you can add bike gear to the last post, all these SPs can afford to go and buy ?500 bash hats spoils it for every one. Having said that I wouldn't have spent that sort of money if I was a millionaire.
Cheers Paul.
